VINTAGE SHELL OIL GIVE-AWAY STEAK KNIVES 1964-65 Boxed Set of 6 QUIKUT U.S.A.

Description

During the mid to late 1960’s Shell Oil on different occasions had promotional items that were given to customers to increase gasoline sales.  Offered is a BOXED set of 6 first generation style steak knives given to customers.  Normally one steak knife per 8 gallons of gasoline purchased was given. This boxed set was an option for individual service station dealers that could be given to customers for a large purchase of various products sold at the station.
This style of knife was given away around 1965 and 1966. They are branded Quikut Stainless U.S.A.  The knives appear to be new and never used.
