This
new nostalgic metal sign is
a reproduction of a vintage Shell Oil & Shell Petrol company advertisement with a sports theme. It's great for decorating the gym, camp, garage, shop, bar, man cave, home, office, or dorm room.
The sign features a colorful illustration of a group of boys playing rugby or maybe football. The two featured players - labelled PETROL and OIL on red sashes- are in a full run passing the ball between. In the background is a scrum of other players. It is framed by a brown border with a white edge.
The top says "The Quick Starting Pair" in red letters. Across the bottom is a brown panel with "SHELL OIL & SHELL PETROL" in yellow type.
This large durable sign is 16" x 24" in size with rolled edges and reinforced die-cut holes in each corner for easy hanging. It is hand made in the USA from heavy-gauge American steel by Vintage Sign Company. They use a process known as sublimation, where the image is baked into a powder coating for a durable and long lasting satin finish.
