**PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING. THIS SHIRT DOES NOT HAVE A BACK GRAPHIC. No, it's not a reproduction, and I personally bought it new in the 90s. Yes, it is authentic -- the "Treasure" shirt that everyone is suddenly clamoring for is now being reproduced on old vintage blank shirts and sold as an original. Please don't think that because a shirt has the same front and back graphic that it makes it authentic, or that because one is different than what you've been seeing around suddenly, that it is fake! I am putting this notice because I have sold this shirt 3 times now and been ghosted by the buyers when they actually read the description AFTER purchase.**

Vintage Cure shirt in new / unworn condition! Size Large. Measurement across chest, unstretched is 23". Measurement from shoulder seam to bottom hem is 30".
In the 90's, I had a business that specialized in selling Cure memorabilia. I bought a lot of these shirts from a record store that was closing and I immediately put them all put in individual plastic bags, where they've remained since then. When I shut my business down in 2001, they went into storage. I only started pulling all these old things out to sell them a few months ago. I was happy to find that they are all just like new!
I'm aware that dry rot can be an issue on some black shirts from this time period  but I have carefully checked these and they were luckily not affected. They even have that new t-shirt smell, since they've never been worn or washed.
I'm including close up pictures of the tag, neck seam and sleeve hem because I've been told that experts can date shirts from those pictures. The graphic says "
©1996 The Cure" and the label brand is All Sport Events. It says the shirt is heavy weight / preshrunk 100% cotton.
There is another version of this shirt out there with this same front that was sold on The Cure's '96 Swing Tour, but it has the lyrics to Treasure on the back and is printed on a Wild Oats label. They are both authentic, but this is NOT that shirt. This was purchased from a record store that was closing in about '97 and the label matches other Cure shirts I also purchased from that time.
I've been told that it's rare to find a Cure shirt from the 90's that is still like new and has never been worn. It's just because of my unusual circumstances that I have these now. I have a few others that I'll also be listing for sale, but only size Large in this design.
