    Rare Mid 19th Century American Watercolor Lithograph Memorial.
    "To the Memory of Gardner Blair died June 22nd 1845 Aged 78 years 3 months" and
    "Mary Ann Blair died July 23rd 1846 Aged 74 years"
    "A present to Hannah F. Hubbell - Mrs Hannah Hubbell, Middlefield, Otsego County, N.Y
    ." and "46 Hubbell" This can all be found on the back side of the lithograph as well as in several other places. She wanted to be sure everyone knew it was hers.
    This memorial depicts a grieving women, large urn style head stone, weeping willow tree, a lake or river with a boat and a church in the background.
    I find no makers name. It is very much a style done frequently by N. Currier, J. Childs and D.W. Kellogg and Company.
    Wonderful condition for the age, fresh from a central New York estate. Moderately toned, a couple age spots. Minor wear to the finish of the original frame. Original glass with bubbles. This was carefully removed from the frame for research and photos then carefully put back.
    Total size is 19 7/8 inches by 14 1/2 inches.
    The sight is 14 1/4 inches by 13 1/8 inches.
    Original old wood back board.
    Old hanging wire with eye screws on the back and a brass loop at the center top for hanging.
