This is an older Riddell VSR4 "Throwback" style helmet signed by Hall of Famer Joe Schmidt of the Detroit Lions.  As you can see, the autograph is very nice and signed on the sweet spot of the helmet - in the perfect size.  The autograph was signed years ago when Schmidt had a very smooth nice autograph.  Schmidt played his whole career for the Lions.  The Lions will never ever have a linebacker like Schmidt.  Two time NFL Champion, 10 time Pro Bowl, 8 Time All Pro, All 50's decade team, and the Hall of Fame.  This is the only helmet like this that we have and the only one like it on eBay.  The helmet comes with the Riddell throwback style facemask.  Great price for a nice helmet with a great autograph.
