Harrods 1998 Annual Foot Dated Christmas Bear (Hamish) - Excellent Condition

Description

This is a great example of the 1998 Harrods Christmas Bear named Hamish.  He is in great condition with no signs of fading or wear.  He is a traditional style bear with golden, curly fur and a close cropped muzzle.  He still has his tag but it does have writing on it since it apparently was given as a gift.  I do not think he has been played with...maybe displayed, but probably just stored.
Sits 13 inches high from a smoke free home.
Hamish is one of the famous Harrods Christmas Bears. Each year a bear is created to celebrate Christmas and there are now 35 bears, including the 2020 bear, all are different, and all are gorgeous! Originally, Harrods did not name their bears, but in 2005 they bowed to ‘Collector pressure’ and started naming their bears. Hamish gained his name retrospectively!
