Franz Schmidt Doll F. S. &. Co 1272 / 28 Z Deponiert Tremble Tongue Sleep Eyes:
I purchased this baby doll at a Maine auction house in the 1990s. I fell in love with her and she has been safely keeping some other dolls company in a treasure chest. I want her to find a good home now where she can be loved and displayed. Her blue eyes that open and close, moving tongue and smile can light up a room! She comes with what I believe is her original christening gown and bonnet, but it does have some tears and soiling, as does her diaper. Her little sweater is glued to her arm in one place. Her body has cracks, chips and other issues in need of TLC! Because she does not stand straight I am unable to get an accurate height, but I laid her down next to a ruler. I'm not an expert doll collector, just really loved this little baby. I would rate her body in fair condition but I do not see any issues with her head other than some minor markings which you can see in the pics.
