Product Usage
Adults or 6 years old or above:
- 1 effervescent tablet of FLUIMUCIL® A600mg a day (preferably in the evening).
Dissolve the tablets as well as the contents of the sachets in a glass containing a small quantity of water, mixing it, if necessary, with a spoon.

Patients suffering from bronchial asthma must be strictly controlled during the therapy; should bronchospasm occur, the treatment must immediately be suspended.
Contraindicated for known hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine.
In the case of subjects with diabetes or with dietary constraints it has to be kept in mind that the preparation contains sugar in quantity corresponding about a tea spoon for every sachet.
Contraindicated for children under 2 years of age. Mucolytic agents can induce respiratory obstruction in children under 2 years of age. Due to the physiological characteristics of the airways in this age group, the ability to expectorate may be limited. Therefore mucolytic agents should not be used in children under 2 years of age.
It is preferable not to mix other drugs with the FLUIMUCIL solution.
The possible presence of a sulphurous odour does not indicate an alteration of the product but is a characteristic of the active ingredient contained in this preparation.
No unusual severe type of toxicity has been reported from the prescription experience of FLUIMUCIL oral: slight gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, dyspepsia, pyrosis) have occurred occasionally.
