    THE TICKET:
    This is an Unused D23 2nd Promenade Ticket from the Ronnie Lane A.R.M.S. Benefit Concert (Action Research for Multiple Sclerosis) at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Dec., 9, 1983. Lane, a member of both the Small Faces and Faces, was diagnosed with MS in the late 1970's. The first benefits for the popular Lane took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London. They were so well received they brought the show to the United States. Most notable of the many rock stars that participated were: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page -- all once lead guitarists with The Yardbirds.
