CLAY AIKEN Signed Paper Fan; 2003 Capitol Hill AFI Event; Personally Autographed

Selling paper fan with wooden handle that was autographed by Clay Aiken. This was given to a veteran political writer during Aiken's 2003 visit to the Capitol, who had it personally signed by the star.
From a July 2003 Entertainment Weekly story on the visit: "Aiken, who was a special education major at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte before finding stardom on ”Idol,” teamed with the American Film Institute (which employs his cousin, Mitch Aiken) to lobby Education Department officials and U.S. senators for the Screen Education Center, a media-literacy program that the AFI wants to introduce to public schools nationwide."
Paper part measures approximately 7.75" x 7.75"; wooden stem measures 8". Item has some scuffs and a couple of minor creases on left side. Please inspect all photos.
