Antique Vtg 40s Rawlings C48 X DETROIT LIONS Style Leather Football Helmet 7 1/4

Description

This is a vintage Rawlings C481 model helmet, painted silver like the Detroit Lions wore in the 1940s.  We can not say for sure that it is indeed an actual Lions helmet however it is the same model, same color, and is a model that they used.  It also has a #27 stamped on the rear of the helmet as shown in the photos.    Hence, we call it a Lions style helmet in the title.  Great vintage leather helmet looking for a home.
