Antique German Max Handwerck 19” Doll. Bisque Head; the rest of her body is composition. Marked on the back of her head (see photo). Brown sleepy eyes. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working. Looks like her eyes are rolled up when are in open position and might need to be adjusted. Some paint loss to the back of her head- see photos. Wig is new and is not glued to her head. Open mouth with upper teeth. Glue residual to the back of her head. Her ears are pierced; small chips to both ears at the earring insertion site (one in the front and one on the back).
Her composition body seems to be an original but looks like it was repainted. Dome cracking snd chipped composition are present- please see photos.
Her clothes are new . She is wearing a dress, skirt, pantaloons, stockings and shoes. Beautifully made bonnet. Some stains are present to her clothes.
