Attached are scans of the front cover, a sample page and back cover of each of the booklets plus the front and back of the table card.
Please enlarge and look at these scans before bidding to better determine their condition before bidding.
The first book has 16 pages including the covers and measures 5” x 7”.
The interior pages are printed in black, red and gray and show artist drawings of layouts and scenery and some black-and-white photos of Lionel trains and accessories.
The second book has 16 pages including the covers and measures 5” x 7”.
This book describes the 1950-introduced Magne-Traction feature and all of its benefits.
The interior pages are printed in black, red and gray.
The third book has 16 pages including the covers and measures 8¼” x 11”.
This book describes layout planning and building and includes many track plans.
The interior pages are printed in black, red and gray.
Note the missing corner on the front cover plus the bottom left 3” of the cover has separated from the binding.
The fourth item is a 6” x 8” card intended to be folded over like a tent card and placed in front of Dad’s plate on the breakfast table.
It shows black-and white artist drawings of 6 different train sets from the 1954 Lionel line plus drawings of accessories, transformers and cars.
Each item has an orange circle for the son to check which items he wants for Christmas.
This card has never been folded.
